I've been described as funny, creative, blunt, witty, handsome, responsible, full of character, honest to a fault, confident, and very down-to-earth. Not average by any means. Not a slob, nor Mr. GQ....just me. No implications of anything fancy, pretty traditional with upper Midwestern values. I'm fairly active (as much as possible, considering) and don't spend weekends in front of a TV watching sports. Photography is a big passion (see my pics). It's my relaxation. People always know where I stand, so communication is not a problem. I'm far from shy while not being obnoxious. Holding an intelligent conversation one second and making someone laugh the next, is pretty commonplace. I can dress up nicely for special occasions but prefer casual dress for day-to-day running around, which is almost always. Clean jeans, and/or khakis. I'm told I'm clean cut, smell great, etc...so no worries :) No debt, no bankruptcies, don't do drugs, no arrest record, no gambling unless the stock market counts or any other nasty skeletons in my closet. I look exactly like my pictures, so no surprises should we decide to meet. I'm a young looking 51 year old :-). I've experienced more in my 50 years than most do their whole lives. It makes for some good conversation and great stories, and for some terrific life lessons. While I've slowed down a bit, I believe there's plenty more to see and do. I may not be the proverbial "tall, dark and handsome", but then again - I'm not plastic. I'm real as they come. Hopefully you are as well. Like they say - "Falling in love is not finding the perfect person; it's learning to love an imperfect person PERFECTLY."
