I was born the of a successful Indian entrepreneur and a smoldering Brazilian beauty. My dad still gets a dreamy look when he describes that trip to Rome when he fell for my mother's dark exotic eyes. I'm proud to say I inherited those eyes, and I'm also told I have her calm, pleasing laugh. I spent my formative years at an all-girls prep school, and I'm really grateful for that: it kindled my passion for art and world cultures at an early age, and groomed me for success at a top tier university. However, this early isolation from the opposite sex also helped turn me into something of a late bloomer. I guess you could say I'm still blooming...
