I am sincere, sensitive, smart, successful, and, when not seeking to impress young women, self-effacing and shy. I like films, books, travel, tennis, table tennis, hiking, and meditation. In particular, I like films by Apatow, Hoblit, Hanson, Coppola, Scorsese, Ridley Scott, Hitchcock, Luis Bunuel, Chabrol, Kurosawa, and Fellini. I read mostly non-fiction, but Oscar Wilde, JD Salinger, and PG Wodehouse are among my favorite writers of fiction. I am a Professor of Mathematical Finance at a top business school and also have a financial consulting practice. I am an excellent teacher and genuinely enjoy helping people. I am equally at home with physics and philosophy, with disciplines requiring quantitative analysis and those requiring a love of words and language. I have traveled to England, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, and Holland. I am planning to travel to Scandinavia and the Baltic countries, and to Chile and Argentina.
