Funny. Fast. Maybe too quick on the draw sometimes, more irreverent than I should be. But do know how to back up and apologize. Also, can shut up and listen. And, even if I get mad, I don’t stay mad. I know people are weak (including me); I am forgiving. Though urban, I can do 19th century guy stuff like build a fire, shoot, fly-fish, dig garden, change tires, hang doors. Oh, and bring you coffee in bed. Have been to a few countries, so have a sense that not everyone thinks like Upper West Siders. Do judge people as individuals – have met both Hutus and Tutsis I liked, Play squash and softball, but don’t watch grown men play sports on TV, not even sure who won last year’s Series :), Long walks on Waikiki Beach at sunset and all site stuff is nice, but mostly like doing stuff with , discussing the paper, HBO, poking around home, wandering less-crowded museums. I am far from perfect, I have flaws, but I am always aware of my way of being. I am believer in asking "why not" instead of "why." I am and always will be a gentleman. I believe in Chivalry, honor, and respect. And don't write me off as not passionate and sensual or I'll have to prove it to you - LOL! Always be funny, always make others laugh, and have the ability to laugh at yourself. Life is too important to be taken seriously! Self-confident. Never a wildman war correspondent, so can handle stress without cracking. Wash dishes as I cook. (Good cook). Why were males created before females? Cos you always need a rough draft before the final copy. ;o) And yes, your is and always will be your first priority in your life. I totally understand and agree with that. One thing I have learned over the years is that when it comes to dating, rules learned don't apply. Every person and situation one encounters is so unique and different that , I find, past lessons really don't apply. So how do I deal with this personal philosophy? Its best to be real sans pretense, be truthful, sincere & make the most of the moment. Ive had many fulfilling relationships and friendships during my time here in LONDON, but I haven't had a long-term relationship for a few years now. I am happy where I presently am but I'd really like to meet someone special to explore the next part of life's journey. I'm a creative professional.
